About Us
Before starting a career in Real Estate she opened the popular "Cafe Max" in 1985. It is frequented by both locals and tourists. 3 books have included it as a favorite Indiana diner. The cafe is celebrating it's 25th Anniversary in 2010. Over the years it has undergone many changes including the addition of a full bar, massive stone fireplace and it has doubled in size. The interior has 14' tin ceilings and is filled with memorabilia. Hours are Sunday through Wednesday 6am-2pm...Thursday through Saturday 6am-9pm.
Her second business venture was "Culver Reservations". The premier rental company has over 50 properties with nightly, weekly and monthly rentals within Culver. She started the company in 2000. A link to it can be found on this site as "rentals".

Susie Mahler has been a life long resident of the Culver Community. She believes in giving back to the community that has supported her. Besides financial support to many charitable causes she has served on boards of civic and non-profit groups. After years in the community selling for another company it was time in 2010 to open her own office "Susie Mahler Realtors". Her experience of starting and operating a rental company makes her a vast resource of knowledge for home buyers who are are looking for ways to offset expenses. The opportunities provided with Culver's vacation rental needs has proven popular with buyers.
Nancy Baker: I have transferred my license to Susie Mahler Realtors after being a Realtor in Logansport, Indiana for 25 years. I became a Realtor in 1986 and was a Million Dollar + producer for several years. I am a graduate of Indiana State University and earned Masters Degree and later an additional 30 graduate hours. In 2002 I retired from teaching at Logansport High School after 30 years. I started vacationing at Culver in the mid 1970's. We built a home on West Shore Circle in the early 1990's and made that our legal residence in 2007. I spend the winter months in Florida, but think of Culver as our home. I have been involved in real estate in Culver- even as I worked out of Logansport. My husband, Chuck, is a 1961 graduate of CMA Winter School. We have 3 children and 11 grandchildren. You might see me at the Culver Farmer's Market where I have a booth with Artistic Clothing, etc. I look forward to serving clients in the Culver area.
Terrie Simon has been licensed as an agent in Indiana since 2006. She joined our company in August of 2012. Besides being a mother of two children, she enjoys refinishing furniture, painting, crafts, gardening, fishing, caring for her dogs and scouring flea markets. Terrie will be working with buyers and sellers interested in the Culver market.
